nipple discharge and Risperdal usage

I have a question about drug called Risperdal. My sister is using it for few months because she is schizophrenic. Last week she noticed that something leak from her breast. I'm worried. I heard that Risperdal and similar medications can cause a cancer. Does anybody know can we connect nipple discharge and Risperdal usage?

Hi! Unfortunately, there are plenty of side effects of Risperdal. I heard that this antipsychotic may increase the amount of hormone prolactin in your blood. That can cause enlarged breasts, missed menstrual period and nipple discharge. She should go to her doctor immediately. Maybe she has galactorrhea. Probably she has to change medications.
