nosebleed & coughing blood in pregnancy

Long story short I'm pregnant & have had bad allergies forever. The pregnancy has started making me have some nasal bleeding, and full blown nosebleeds. The DR said this was normal esp if you have allergies to begin with, to get nosebleeds. This morning I started"hacking" up what looks like clots of blood. It had a very bitter taste. It started to be a mix of flem/blood about 2 weeks back and now is more pure blood in the mornings. My thoughts is maybe it's because the way i lay at nite, my nose can't bleed so it goes down my throat. Any thoughts on what i should do?
