my wife says she has less menstuation then the normal.

You didn’t say how old your wife is, or if she had any problems with her health, or any surgeries…etc

Less menstruation may indicate menopause for example but if she were younger, that would hardly be the case. Her period may change due to hormonal changes, or if she has been engaging herself in excessive exercise.
