In January 2008 I had a pancreatis attack, after 5 days in the hospital, my gall bladder was removed. Today June 2008, I still have numbness and lots of pain in the upper part of my stomach.

If you have numbness it is a possibility that there was some incidental nerve damage when the gall bladder was removed. The pain, however, should become less with time. I would consult your doctor/surgeon about the problems.
