nuvaring insertion

Hi Everyone!

Is there anyone here that uses the NuvaRing? I just put my first one in today and I'm not sure if its in there correctly. How far up should it go? (sorry to be semi-graphic here) When the ring is in, if you put your finger in the vagina, can you feel the ring with your finger in only about 1/4 inch? I thought that the ring should be parallel to the ground, but it feels that mine is perpendicular to the ground. I'm worried that it isn't in correctly.

Nuva ring needs to go as high as you can place it, that way it is comfortable and stays put.

Your vagina is NOT straight up and down, it is at an angle. Make sure it is as high as possible, although placement is not a huge concern.

If you use the bathroom and strain, you do not want to push it out.
