occasional right side rib pain

I am having that weird pain occasionally, like cramps or something, under rib on the right side, sometimes on both sides. It usually happens when I get up suddenly, but when I sit down too. I am very concerned what might cause this pain. I already checked possible side effects of the drugs I used in the past couple of months. My doctor said that it is not a reason.

Hey, I also experienced occasional pain under my right rib. When I do deep breathing I feel the pain. I first noticed while I was exercising at the gym. I talked with my doctor about it. He determined that inflammation of the lungs caused pain which is worse on deep breathing. But also damages of the ribs and other conditions may be cause of rib pain. I suggest you to keep on with exams, perhaps ask for second opinion.
