off depo provera and no periods?

I have been on depo for 5 years. About a year and a half ago I got off of the depo but I still haven't gotten my period yet. Is this normal? Me and my husband are trying to have another baby!! My doctor prescribed my a treatment of Provera and it worked once. I don't know what else to do. I also heard about women having etopic pregnancies after using the shot. It that true? Please Help Me?

I too was on the depo shot for about 4 yrs and I decided to get off. My doctor prescribed provera and a year later I got my period. I was also trying to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful for two years now.
