I have been on olanzapine and it seems to help quite a bit with no side effects other then weight gain. I have also been gaining weight for the past 2 years ever since I started Clozaril so it’s really hard to say which is doing more than the other, although since I start the olanzapine my stomach constantly feels empty.

I just asked my doctor what's the percentage of people who are on olanzapine and didn't gain any weight. He said that he needs to check, but he believe somewhere around 30% don't gain weight. I thought about this and realized that I think that it's too high a percentage to be right. I’ve heard so many stories, like your, where people are on olanzapine and they all said that they gained weight, some only 10 lbs, but others like me, 60 lbs.
