Hello! MY 3 year-old daughter was diagnosed with oligoarthritis with 4 joints affected. I would like to know what if this disease poses risks for her future health. Thank you for your help
Most of the children who are diagnosed with oligoarthritis don’t suffer any long-term joint damage and about 1/5 of the diagnosed go on to having more joints affected. Some of the children may end up with different legs length because of the uneven bone growth. What you should worry about is a possible vision loss, so you should concentrate on preventing that.
