i've been on the shot ope-provera for over a year , i didnt have m period for over at all untill january and then came back sometime in february and i've been getting dark bleeding everything and is sometimes heavy but most of the time its been pretty light flow. what is going on? is something wrong with me?

yes something is wrong and you should seek a doctor. This means that you may be anemic or having an unususal response from whatevr you are on. Maybe you may be low in iron. Just fine vitamins high in B12 or folic acid or maybe take birth control recommended by your doctor.
