| Okay, i need a little help. I have been on the nuva ring for about 5 months now, my period comes a little late every time. We have unprotected sex, and he ejaculates inside of me. Got a yeast infection about a week ago, took ring out overnight to use treatment, put back in in the morning after cleansing. Noticed light spotting after that (next day, maybe that morning) Did not have sex for three days. My ring comes out on the 20th, but i am spotting brown right now. Slight weight gain, light cramping, slight fatigue, always hungry, lower back pain (but i am a server and that requires alot of walking and lifting) maybe a little heartburn. Please help!! Im a little scared |

| IF THE RING IS OUT FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS, IT IS NO LONGER EFFECTIVE FOR BIRTH CONTRL AND THE DISRUPTIOJ IN HORMONE LEVELS COULD CAUSE THE SPOTTING. USE ORAL TREATMENT FOR YEAST INFECTIONS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TAKING THE RING OUT. |

| You deffinately need to take a pregnancy test. The Rx info suggests that if the ring is out more than three hours, an alternate form of birth control is needed until the ring has been in for 7 CONSECUTIVE days. |

I am wondering if anyone can help with this.....I only had the ring in for 4 consecutive days and the side effects were horrendous so I took it out.
The thing is, about a day and a half after the removal, I got a period. Except it was more like brown towards the end of the flow kind of thing. But it lasted for about 4-5 days. Did I have another actual period or was it just breakthrough bleeding? So my period is late if I am going by the date it started last month before I put the ring in. But if after the ring removal counts as a period then it should get here in a few days time. I have had crazy PMS symptoms for almost a week. I took two pregnancy tests...one yesterday and one this morning...both negative. But those things are never 100% accurate. I don't know what to expect so I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Thank you! |

| ive been on the ring for about 1 week now , have been having a little cramps but what worries me the most is that i have been having alot of discharge ! its like a yeast infection(WHITE)with out the burning or itching , and im late on my period , any suggestions ? |
