Wow - looks like I'm not alone in my trouble with this pill! I started experiencing some insomnia within the first week of taking it. Into the second and third weeks I was getting a maximum of 4 hours of sleep a night. I didn't clue in until my doctor asked me if I was doing anything different - When I thought about it I had started taking these pills around the same time I started having trouble sleeping! After about 4 days of being off the pills, I was back to sleeping 7 hours a night.

I too got sick taking this medication. I started taking it after I ate breakfast and did much better. However, over the past year I gained 30 lbs. while on the medicine. I also started experiencing a rapid heart rate, pain in my left arm, and then periods of extreme fatigue. I had trouble sleeping at night and had vivid dreams. I would wake up with my heart racing. I had a sleep study done, which showed I did not have sleep apnea. I started taking B12 to help with the late afternoon and evening fatigue. Recently, I heard that this product contains a large amount of caffeine and other products that might be causing my problems sleeping. I discontinue the medication and am now sleeping much better and am no longer experiencing the racing heart rate or any pain in my left arm. Hopefully, I will be able to start to really lose weight. I am shocked that One a Day, which is normally known to be a good product, would put this product on the market.

I've been sticking to a low calorie diet, exercising 5-6 times per week for the last few weeks - and a little over a week ago, I decided to give One a Day Weight Smart a try.

I KNEW it wasn't a weight loss pill. I KNEW it wasn't a magic pill that would allow me to lose 10 pounds in 2 days. Here's the thing - it's a multi-vitamin, it says so on the label. And what's more - right below the ingredients on the label, which everyone should carefully read before choosing to put something into their body - it says ONE PER DAY - TAKE WITH FOOD. They say that for a reason. Because, just like 99.9% of all other medications out there, whether they are over the counter or prescribed, they should be taken with milk/food so they don't make you nauseous. Some people, legitimately cannot handle the amount of ingredients in any medication - so stop! Talk to your doctor! Find another multivitamin. But, if you're looking for a weight loss pill, this isn't it = )

It's a combination of hard work - dedication - and honesty with YOURSELF when it comes down to losing weight. All One a Day Weight Smart does is realize that you may be depriving your body of really important vitamins by switching up your diet. ANY vitamin does this! What is particularly special about this vitamin is, it works with your metabolism. That's all.

I've been using One a Day Weight Smart for more than a week - and I feel fantastic! I eat my normal breakfast, take the vitamin and enjoy my day = ) I look forward to sleep at night because I feel like I've LIVED my day and not just "went" through it. I'm not a big dreamer, but have had a pleasant dream just about every night for the past week - which I attribute to much more than the vitamin.

I'd recommend it = ) It's a great feeling to know you're able to replace important essential vitamins with one vitamin.

P.S. I work for a pharmaceutical company which provides care for long term facilities and hospitals. Doctors and Nurses recommend this vitamin believe it or not! They love the healthy, positive changes they see in their patients! (And, I love to hear the stories!!!) Good luck = )

Well I'm sorry everyone seems to be having issues with this product. But I was suprised to not have issues at all. Most drugs make me sick as a dog but this doesnt seem to have that effect, plus eating right mixed with this has helped me to loose 30 pounnds...

I don't know what you ladies are talking about. I have been on them for over 2 weeks and have never been nauseous or sick from them. I have lost 4 lbs and they have doubled my energy. Our bodies are different and just because you have felt sick doesn't mean they should be pulled off the shelf. I'm sure there are a lot more women singing their praises.

I have been taking the one a day weight smart vitamin for a week now. The first day I took it I did not eat breakfast and felt sick, but I quickly ate something and was fine. I am glad I haven't had a problem with the vomiting thing. (Infact, it hasn't curbed my appetite at all.) I have had really bad nightmares (when I do sleep). I have recently found myself actually screeming out loud and waking myself up at night.

gotta chime in here -- I've been taking the One-a-day weight smart vitamins for almost 3 weeks and have experienced no negative side effects. I take them with my first bite of breakfast or lunch and have been totally fine. Some people may be sensitive to teh chromium and sounds like they should avoid these but gotta say -- others like me are just fine.
