one negative test and one positive anyone else had this?

im two weeks late and did test last week and after hours the test came back positive, i had this m=with my son but after repeating test his came back stronger and positive, but when i repeat test this time it came back negative. im still non the wiser, my doctor has asked for a repeat test. i have a lot of pregnancy symptoms but im a little confused with the tests. this will be my third child. please help!!!

I'm looking for imformation on that too. I had a miscarrage last year and i'm really confused. I have been trying to get pregnant and when I missed my period i waited to take a test because every time i take it they come out positive the first and/or second tests, but then the rest come out negative, i even had gone to the doctor to have a blood test and that came out negative. that has happened so many times that the doctor doesn't even send me for hcg blood work anymore. this time i didn't get my period for 2 months and the test was positive and then neg again. now i got a period for two days it stopped all of a sudden and now the symptoms are starting again. the regular dr did blood tests and all my hormone levels were normal so it's not a hormonal problem, and they said if it was ovarian cancer they would have picked that up in the white cell count. Confused
