I have been in a relationship for 3 years now and my boyfriend and I don’t use any protection. In a couple of occasions I had to take a morning after pills because he ejaculated inside of me around my ovulating period. It is not just his fault, I sometimes want it as well, so I end up taking plan B and worrying until my period arrives. I would honestly like to stop worrying and I thought that maybe it is high time I started using any of the oral contraceptives. Can you suggest any? Thanks

All bc pills are bought over the counter but I wouldn’t advise you doing anything on your own. My gynecologist recommended I should be tested to see if I should be using bc pills. I was a little bit skeptic about it because I heard so many stories about bc pills, I heard that there is a risk of cervical cancer due to constant exposure to excessive estrogen, that it causes weight gain, mood changes and depression. However, I did the tests and my doc said I was ok and that they make low hormone bc pills now, so she recommended me these. I am not going to say anything about the kind I use because I would rather you also saw a gynecologist, run some tests and see if you should be using bc pills at all.
