ortho tri cylen lo vs. the nuvaring

Is there significant evidence that Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo will cause weight gain? I am switching from the nuvaring to this low dose pill and I gained on the nuvaring.

I was on Ortho for 3 years and overall I maybe gained 5lbs. But I was on it during my teens, one of my growing stages. So the weight is not neccessarily from Ortho. I was on it from 16-20 and then to Ogestrel and now to the NuvaRing. I have never used the Nuvaring and all my friends that have it love it. How much weight did you gain? Was the NuvaRing your first contraceptive? Ortho will more than likely make your face break out. Thats why I stopped taking Ortho. My acne was always bad but it got worse, while on Ortho. When I took Ogestrel my face cleared up, and I just get little pimples, now and their right b4 my period.
