I was reading about orthosiphon in a magazine that it was supposed to relive symptoms of urinary tract infections. I have never used any herbs before and I was wondering if I could use it instead of antibiotics I was prescribed.

I also heard about this Java tea to be effective in many urinary conditions but to be honest I don’t know if you should neglect your medicine. Urinary tract infection can cause many complications, so I wouldn’t take my chances. Untreated UTi can lead to chronic UTI, or kidney infection, so I would definitely stick to the antibiotics.
