orthotricyclen skin breakouts

Hello! I’ve been using orthotricyclen for six months now, and have never had any problems, so I recommended them to my best friend as well. But it seems that she developed some skin redness that she has never had before. Now, I feel a little guilty bc I haven’ checked possible side effects, and I was wondering if any of you experienced anything similar, because for me they worked just fine.

Hi there! This is actually pretty strange, these skin problems your friend developed. I have been on orthotricyclen for a couple of months now, and it seems to me that my skin is much cleaner now, and I don’t have as much acne as before. I think it even says in the manual that they should lower the amount of hormone that produces acne, and should even help in improving skin infections from herpes. Are you sure that your friend hasn’t used anything else with these pills? Maybe it was something else that caused her skin irritation???
