I was just informed that I have calfication on the ovaries shown from the US I had two days ago. The nurse just asked if I had insurance to do more tests; my doctor was unavailable until Monday. I want to know what this is, is it linked to cancer and what types of tests may be needed in the near future. Does calcification normally require that the ovaries are surgically removed?
