I am already having problems with eating and anxieties and it seems that those became even more intensified with my new job. I started working as a journalist. I have always thought of it as a creative job, but there is also a lot of stress and fear that I will not make it until the deadline. This is not helping my current condition at all! Now I have problem of over eating in anxiety (the only thing that helps me is eating).
It is possible that food helps you little with your anxieties because it can affect out senses. Actually, food can become main weapon of consolidation. Perhaps some exercises might help you. Nothing hard, just enough to burn some of the extra calories you eat and to relax your body (and mind in the same process). You could always get some antidepressants, but they tend to mess up the metabolism so you might end up with even more extra weight.
