owww my throat! something lodged?

ok, so a few days ago i was eating potato wedges and i was laughing and accidentaly swallowed a hard, burnt, but smaller one whole. i felt instant pain. now EVERY time i swallow it feels like its jabbing me sooo hard and sometimes i dont even wanna swallow because it hurts so bad. also hurts when i talk or yawn. and today i took my swallow pills and now i feel like they're sitting on top of something, like they won't go down. im afraid im gonna choke or something. please HELP![/size]
