my husband is still having pain now and then and a small amount of bleeding after having a hemroidectomy Does this mean there is a problem or is it something he is eating or not eating?

I had surgery on 1-3-07 for internal hemmroids and I am still experiencing alot of pain. it is not nearly excruciating as in the beginning, but I have gone out several times and end up really hurting after just several hours of being out. The bowel movements are easier, but still cause me to moan instead of the previous yelling. This surgery just takes alot of healing time. Hang in there, I am believing that it is all worth it in the end.

I have to tell you that not every experience is as bad as those above. I had surgery yesterday & the pain is not bad at all. I came home with a prescription for Dilaudid to be taken every 4 hours. If I need something in between, I was told to take 3 Motrin tablets at a time. I don't know why some of your doctors have not been more helpful with pain management.

:D im very happy to say i am going into hospital on monday to have my hemroids removed all up about eight i just want to know is there any pain after the surgery
