I was just wondering if there is any one that has had a bowel rejoin after an illiostomy which was formed after colon cancer, after the surgery i got an abcess where they had remade my pouch as to be able to rejoin the bowel again after everything had healed, all this has been done with great sucess the only problem being after bowel movement i get a great deal of pain enough that i have to take pain killers,so i was wanting to know if there is anyone that has anything like i am describing, the only thing the surgeon can think it might be is scarring....So if you can help with any answers please do...i am a 49 y old female my surgery was on the 29 august 2006.....
