pain in ear to throat to left lung

Hi-
Last Tuesday I had an earache in my left ear. I put some old prescription medice for ear in it and it stopped hurting the second day. Then my throat hurt on the left side for a day or two-mild but still irratating. On the fourth day I began to feel pain in my left lung area. Now the pain is severe - I cant sleep in any position. Walking sitting and standing are painful. Motrin and tylenol help for a short time. Has anyone ever had an ear infection that turned into a lung infection? Thanks for any response.

Ive been having throat and left lung pain to breath too. I also have throat pain when swallowing and have asthma - like attacks, but doctors haven´t quite found what´s wrong with me. Did you find a cause and cure for your symptoms? Thanks.
