pain in right arm muscle and numbness in right rist

I have a constent pain in my right arm muscle, I have numbness in my right rist. I always had numbness in my right thumb from an operation on an tendent that was cut 5 years ago. Now the numbness goes from my thumb and in my rist. The pain in my muscle feels like a pulled muscle (constant) Could it be that the tendent snapped again and is court in the muscle.
