Hi im 14 years old and i keep getting pains in a tube what connects to the epididymis sometimes the pains come from the epididymis and yesterday i found a little hard lump on the end of it and it only hurts if a touch it.
Ive tried telling my parents but whenever i go to tell them i get quite scared and nervous so i end up just walking out the room.

So does anyone know what this is? and could you give me advice on how to tell my parents for future reference. Thanks

Bad news, i was 12 when a cyst developed on my right testicle and I had to go through exactly what your going through; the embarrassment, the pain, the worry, but it's one of those annoying times in life where you have to tell people about things that should be kept personal, eventually I went in for surgery...and thats not pretty
Now I'm 16 and I have epididymitis and it has spread (due to doctors stupidity and incompetence) to the other testicle and being the lucky guy I am another cyst has developed on that infection

In conclusion: You don't want to end up like me so DONT keep this shit a secret, if you dont tell anyone then a painful surgery is soon to follow when the pain is too much to bear and you end up not being able to walk....just like 12 year old me
Try approaching your parents and explain that you have looked it up and you are concerned, it's a common infection that most people have had at some point in their lives and sometimes it's hereditary so your father could be passing it down to you, that's the way it was with me
Your infection can be treated simply by anti-biotics but get that cyst checked out as soon as possible, it's not to be taken lightly especially if it's the size of a peanut but if its not developed well then surgery might not be the answer and be grateful if anti-biotics are the way to health because surgery on that area is nothing I hope to endure again in my lifetime

I hope I've made things easier for you because i don't want anyone going through what I had to go through
