When a wisdom tooth that will eventually need to be removed grows in, it puts pressure on your back teeth and can eventually cause 'crowding'. That aside, the symptoms you describe could indicate infection. Your body is doing everything it can to fight it. Swollen throat/tonsils, and inflammation of surrounding tissues is perhaps reason enough to see the dentist or a doctor.
So to answer your question, yes, you may have an issue with a wisdom tooth. You may have a seperate issue altogether. Either way, if infection is present, and is getting worse, make haste to a professional. |
