Posted: 07/01/06 - 22:21 Post subject: pain near the sternum area and gerd |
| i am a 26 year old guy and i am not overweight (height 5.9 weight 156 lbs) and i have had a chronic gerd problem for the last year and half , offlate i am experiencing a dull pain and pressure below my breastbone near my sternum , i have never had an endoscopy procedure done , could this be due to gerd or could be somethig more serious , i am worried whether i could have something more serious than gerd ?i have had no weight loss , vomitting or blood in stools. can someone comment on possibility of having a serious stomach disorder at this age ? |

I get this, I was told I have GERD. I'm not sure it's something else. I am 32, not too much older than you, so I think this may be a normal sympton of GERD. I also have read a few things about a haital hernia, causing similar problems?? If I learn something new I will post for you.
Good Luck! |
