I just meet a woman who was addicted to pain pills. She had some type of accident and found herself addicted to Oxycontin, but to make a long story short. I'm not saying there aren't people who abuse pain medication, but if you are in chronic pain that will not go away, you should be entitled to pain relief, no matter what it is. Am I right?
I am sometimes worried about addiction. I don't stray from my prescribed dosage. I take even less than what is prescribed on the bottle, but then I find myself upping the amount I take. Once the flare subsides I go back down to normal levels. I often wonder what would happen or how I would feel if my doctor suddenly decided to withhold my pain pills from me.
