It depends on what kind of blister! Does it ooze any liquid? Are you sexually active and have unprotected sexual encounters?

If you are not sexually active, you have nothing to worrya bout regarding STD’s especially genital herpes as blisters are one of the most common symptoms of genital herpes. The thing is that when a person experiences an outbreak, there are a lot of blisters, not just one.

This is why I believe this could be just some sort of scrotal cyst, a skin growth that you should not pick and should just let it be until it disappears on its on.

However, if you have engaged yourself in risky sexual activities, you should have this blister checked in order to find out if you have herpes or not, so that you could protect your sexual partners by refraining from sex during these outbreaks. Condoms are not safe for genital herpes, because they are spread by skin-to-skin contact.
