pain under ribs 3 weeks after c-section

i had a c-section almost 3 weeks ago and on 3 seperate occasions i have had severe pain under my ribs. i was wondering if this is common or normal

I don't know if it is normal, but I had my second C-section 8 weeks ago and I have been having severe rib pain on and off for the last few nights. It only seems to occur at night and intensifies when I am lying down. It doesn't bother me during the day. I am not sure what it is from and after reading people's complaints about the same side effects, no one seems to have a reason for this pain. Wish there was some answer to this because pretty painful...
