I have had my gall bladder removed 8 years ago and now I have a pain in the right side under my ribs sort of behind them. They did a sonogram and it came negative. I was diagnosed with gastritis 2 years ago and take Nexium occasionally but to me this seems unrelated and my doctor has not provided me with an answer. He took a blood test and we are waiting for the results and he did not tell me what he thinks it is.
I would like to know which course to take to help remove this nagging pain. It feel like i have a tennis ball stuck. When I sit it feel as it something is there underneath. what to you think it is and what shall i do.

Common possibilities for this symptom are rib or chest wall inflammation, stomach upset caused by ulcers or gastritis, pancreatitis, and gallbladder problems.
If you continue to see the doctor without clear answers, I strongly suggest you see a homeopath or naturopath. I have had great success in getting answers and adequate treatment.
