Hi,
About a month ago I noticed blood in my stool one day. It only happened once, and it was bright red and filled up the toilet bowl. Since then I have had weird symptoms. For about two weeks after, I lost about 10 pounds, and didn't feel like eating. Luckily I have put back on those 10 pounds, and have a regular appetite. I had a really bad cough for two weeks. After a chest x ray came back normal, I was precscribed antibiotics and it cleared up. I have had abdominal discomfort, especially in my upper right side just under the rib cage. I have had thinner than normal stools for the past month, but nothing pencil thin. My stomach makes gurgling noises more frequently, and i feel it spasming sometimes. The weirdest part of this all is, as soon as the thin stools started, my legs have been randomly twitching/spasming every day. I'm 24 with no history of colon cancer in the family. I am really worried that this is what I have, any suggestions? I'm getting an abdominal ct scan in a week and set up an appointment for a colonoscopy.
