Hello! Is there anybody who can tell me what the pancreas function in the body is and what pancreas diseases there are? Thanks!!!!

The pancreas is a retroperitoneal organ that has two functions: exocrine-produces pancreatic juice containing digestive enzymes in order to break down all categories of digestible foods and endocrine-produces several important hormones. Here are some of the pancreas diseases: Benign tumours, Carcinoma of pancreas, Cystic fibrosis, Diabetes, Pancreatitis, Pancreatic pseudocyst.
