Hi, my mother suffers from parkinson’s disease and among many usual symptoms she’s got a new problem, she can’t get into sleep and even when she does she is not waking up often.

Hi, when my grandfather who is 86 expressed signs of insomnia, I didn’t thing at all it could be related to Parkinson’s disease, but it turned out to be so. He had tremor, stiffness and rigidity of limbs, slowness in movements and was generally unstable. Later his face became expressionless, he couldn’t write properly, and he even developed sleeping disorder. His doctor propose to take some Valerian supplements for sleeping, and it helped him. He has also problems with urination during night, so he needs to get up and finding way to the bathroom is so difficult for him specially in the dark.
