I am going to have pelvic ultrasound tomorrow. They need to see what causes the pelvic pain I‘ve been having for past two weeks. The problem is that I don’t know how to prepare myself for pelvic ultrasound. What I should do to wear?

You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for your pelvic ultrasound exam. You may be asked to drink up to six glasses of water two hours prior to your exam, so your bladder is full when the scanning begins, but I guess that they will tell you there before the exam. It is because a full bladder helps with visualization of the uterus, ovaries and bladder wall. But they are going to do transvaginal examinations no bladder filling is required.
