Hello. I'm 23 year old male and I've had big problems with my penis foreskin. I have suffered from condition called phimosis that could only be cured with operation- circumcision.
Luckily, operation went well and there were no complications or post-op side effects. Recover time was short and I was hopping that I could get back to my normal sex life. But I was wrong. Real problems occurred almost a year after operation. I'm having big problems with penetration because it became painful and almost impossible. Beside this, my erections aren’t strong as they were before the operation!
I don’t know what to do now. Please tell me this isn’t permanent? Any advices?
Hello. I'm very sorry that you’ve developed these post operative problems but I must also tell you that you are not alone.
Many people are often convinced that circumcision will immediately cure their sex problems but they are wrong. Man needs a lot of time to develop to these new conditions. I don’t know how much do you know about all this but circumcision is definitely causing decrease in penile sensitivity because foreskin is filled with nerves that contribute the sex drive and libido. Beside that, it is proven that excision of the foreskin by circumcision increases the force required to penetrate. That’s how- it can cause irritation and dryness. Every recovery takes time to complete and beside the physical part there is also one, maybe even more important- the psychological one.
