penile discomfort from dryness/friction.orveruse?

Lately, I have had some dryness/peelyness of the penis (which is uncircumcised). I keep it clean, and am reasonable certain it's not just fry smegma...It is a bit itchy, but mostly unattractive. Also, recently after having sex, I discovered that I had small red sores, which looked like little tears, near the head of my penis, and uderneath where the foreskin attatches. I'm stumped... I was wondering if anyone knew what to do about these, and/or if they are something I should be worried about... Please feel free to share anything that might be of use!!!! THanks alot!
