I am 31 and am experiencing itching on penis head (since Aug 9 2006), it has swollen after itching. Could it be related to my use of a shampoo couple of times (to clean the penis); I have switched over to my regular soap today and felt better for a while but it is again itching. I am also worried that it may be something else as I had an unprotected sex on July 18 2006. Could you please suggest your diagnosis and treatment?

hello,
your sexual organs maybe infected.
therefore, stop soaping, shampooing and putting other things on the genitals.
it must be cleaned everyday, by a health professional, who will use skin safe detergents on the whole organs.
before it get healed fully, i advice to stop cleaning it on your own with any chemicals, stop sexual activities for a while.
the only thing you may do is, wash the genitals with clean, hygiene water (shower it) every morning and night for some minutes.
