since no one really teaches males "personal hygeine" and circumcision is the majority this can/will happen. the "deposits" you noticed under your foreskin is called smegma. both men AND women have it in the mammal species. although smegma in circumcised men is less common due to the abscence of a foreskin. basically smegma is moisture created from the foreskin to lubricate the foreskin in amounts. usually if you can see it, it means that if you are uncircumcised you need to retract the foreskin and clean your penis on a daily basis. since smegma is normal, there is no need to scrub or overclean. only a small amount of soap and daily cleaning is required.
some would recommend circumcision to rid smegma in males, however, circumcision is not necessary. BOTH men and women require daily hygeine. |
