perimenopause strange discharge

Hello! I am 43 years old, female and for the last 4 months I have been experiencing some additional discharge in between my periods. The color of the discharge is usually pink. I am worried because of the persistence of the discharge. Could this strange discharge be connected with perimenopause that I am definitely in?

Hello. This pink discharge may be even blood. I think you should be evaluated by a doctor or a gynecologist. They may perform did a pap smear and an endometrial biopsy in order to check for the abnormalities as Bleeding between regular periods are usually not caused by hormonal disbalance.
