period 3 days late and I had brownish discharge..help!!!!

I think I might be pregnant I have been having allllll the signs and my period is 3 days late...and I've had alittle brownish discharge...not enough to wear liners or anything...I've taken a pregnancy test they just keep coming up negative...could I still be pregnant!?!? someone please help! I want a baby sooo bad!!

[I have been reading posts for weeks. And finally I found one that is current. Anyways, I am in the same boat. I was due on Thursday really, and today is Sunday and still no period. This morning however I did have a slight stream of brownish discharge among regular discharge. Not sure what it is. But each time I go to the bathroom I keep thinking, this is my period and it's nothing. My hpt and bld test both came back negative. The dr's office said it's possible that the blood test was done to soon to see. UGH!! It's driving me crazy. I had sex twice on my most fertile day and have been having all the symptoms. What to do. What does the discharge mean, the symptoms, the several and diverse tests coming back negative. Have I not given it enough time? How long do you realisitically have to wait?
