period 8 days late ... negative home pregnancy test

I am 8 days late for my period and today i took a ome pregnancy test and it was negative.

I used to be a daily marajuana smoker but have not smoked in 10 days, although i have taken a few percacet. I also was on amoxicillan for 10 days finishing about 10 days ago (for an ear infection)
I am not on birth control pill, and have had sex with my common law partner although have not had an accident.

I have never been this late for a period before (27 yrs old)

I was wondering if any above mentioned factors could cause a late period.

Any help would be appreciated
