ok, well in reality i dont know for sure if anything happened because foolishly, we were both drunk, but im scared. i know for sure that we fooled around, including oral sex, but the rest is very blurry. the days following that night, i was extremely sore around my waist and pelvis, my legs were sore and i kept on discharging. but it went away. however, for the next three months i didnt get my period. i was terrified and took 2 pregnancy tests, but they came out negative. that made me really happy. my question is... is it normal for your period to stop after loosing your virginity... and for that long (3 months)??? when it finally came back, i had it for 7 days when i usually only have it for 3-4 days. it was the first time my period ever was irregular as well. thanks!

Actually, it is not common to miss a period or three after first sexual experience! There is nothing that could delay or postpone your period unless maybe a bacterial infection.

It is common for young girls to catch so called honeymoon cystis, a bacterial infection of the genitor-urinary tract that causes burning during urination, pain in the lower stomach, frequent need for urination, pain during intercourse, etc. Honeymoon cystis is not a sexually transmitted bacteria but “regular” gastrointestinal bacteria.

It is quite possible that you contracted an STD that usually cause strange discharge but it rarely delays periods. I don’t know if your boyfriend was also a virgin, but if he wasn’t, you could have contracted an STD.

I would advise you see a gynecologist and have a regular pelvic exam because this is what girls are supposed to do when they lose their virginities.
