I don’t know if this is normal, but I noticed that my temperature changes with my menstrual period. I am 27 years old, I guess it happened before, but in past 2 years changes re more severe then before. I don’t understand this, am I sick or something? I also have polycystic ovaries; maybe it has something to do with it.
I don’t think so. You should know that one of the many changes that take place in a woman's body during her menstrual period is an increase in body temperature at the onset of ovulation. During the first part of a woman's cycle, the body temperature is lower, but with ovulation, the body temperature rises. It creates this way a more fertile environment for the fertilized egg and remains higher until the beginning o a woman's next cycle.
