period because of steroid shots?

so i have a problem with the hair on my scalp. I have something called apesia ariata and I revieve steriod shots in my scalp and in my hip once a month.

about three weeks ago i recieved my shots and 5 days later started my period. My period lasted 5 days but was VERY light compared to how i usually am. Then about 7 days later..i began to bleed again..Light once again but for only about 3 days. Now i have brown discharge and am very conserned.

I was wondering if this probably had to do with my shots? or if i could be pregnent? I was scared i was when i was late for my period..but since i am not on the pill or anything i am not very sure what "late" is.

also i forgot to mention..i have been very stressed lately and have not had an appitetite at all!! i took 3 pregnacy tests already and all 3 showed negative..but i am still scared that maybe because of my stress and not eating correctly that my hormones might be all mixed up..but if i am pregent i would be about 7 weeks..my boyfriend says he is absolutely sure that i am not because he is very careful and we use protection everytime..but i am just so confused..
