Hello! It’s been a couple of months that I haven’t had my periods at all. I went to a doc and he determined that I haven’t been producing enough progesterone, so he put me on Prometrium. It’s been a week since I have been taking the capsules, and for the last two days I have been experiencing cramps. I am wondering if this is supposed to go like that or there is something wrong. Thx for the replies!!!!
Hello! One of the many possible side effects of Prometrium is abdominal cramping. Only your doctor can tell you if you should continue taking Prometrium. Maybe he may find a way to treat this side effect and reveal the cramoing , so that you can safely continue to use Prometrium, or he may get you off Prometrium. Pay a visit to your doctor!!!!!
