Hi, I'm now on my 3rd pack of birth control pills ( alesse) . I'm only on the 11th day, and ive already got my period. It started off like a week ago as brownish discharge, but then it just changed to blood. I don't know what to do , is this normal ? Thank you for your time
Sounds to me like this is breakthrough bleeding and it is a common side effect which is usually noticed in the first 3 months of taking the pill. (and sometimes in the 4th month) - It doesn't seem like a cause for concern just yet!!!! Just mention it to your doctor next time you go just to give him/her a heads up!
