period symptoms but no bleeding

I'm so worried.. i always get my period about the same time every month.. its usually between the 12th and the 18th. now today is the 21st and the past week ive been having cramps and thats it. but NO period. ive been under a lot of stress lately and then i started worrying about this and i think thatd made it worse.. but whats even worse is im a teenager and my mom keeps asking me if i have it. ive been with my bf for over a year so i think thats why shes always on top of that but i dont even know what to say to her anymore.. does it sound like i could be pregnant? i dont have any symptoms except for cramps...

This happens to me all the time!

Generally (in my case) it relates to stress. If I am "overly stressed" I will have the symptoms but essentially a no show.

It can also go along with weight loss, depression, changing of medications, going off of birth control can even alter your cycle a bit.

So as I sit here with no other pregnancy symptoms outside of sore/tender breasts... and a period thats MIA... I am rather confident that once again, I've allowed myself to get too stressed.

I've had all these symptoms before. I had PMS symptoms, no period though, tender breast. My breast even started lactating. Nausea, heart burn, all the signs that come along with pregnancy…. Eight home pregnancy test and two test from my doctor all told me I wasn't pregnant. After the lactating breast I was convinced something wasn't right. Stress has never caused that. Anyway, after an ultrasound we discovered I was producing gall stones. Weirdly enough all my symptoms were triggered by my gall bladder. Anyway got it removed, symptoms went away.......Two years later my symptoms are back. I don't have a gall bladder anymore so now I'm just as confused as the rest of you.... However I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet so I can't rule that out. Anyway the point was that you may need to get an ultrasound because kidney stones, gall stones and other abnormalities can trigger these pregnancy symptoms if you're sure you aren't pregnant.

i'm a 14 year old and still a virgin yet i get tender breasts, i lose balance, get sick like cough cold sick often, i ovulate and everything but no period. I also if i laugh to hard i will start to go off my equilibrium and fall. I know i'm pregnant and wondering if it's happening because i am overweight or because i'm stressed because i don't get it often. I'm also wondering because if that happens and my period doesn't come does it mean that i can't have kids? I hope not. I don't know if it's my weight, if it's stress from school and not having it, if it's depression because my dad walked out and just losing my grampa, or if it's the foods i eat because i eat moderately but don't look at the fat and grease on it??? Please help me out. I'm freakin out!!!! also i get the occasional leaks if i sneeze or laugh too hard please help. Crying or Very sad

I am having similar problems. I had my period last Saturday but the bleeding only lasted two days! I still have the other symptoms of my period. I've been off birth control for a month and have just started two days ago. However, now that the bleeding has stopped I don't know hwats going on. I have never hada a period last less than five days. Should I continue to take the pill? Or could I be pregnant?

would a having a cold/flu then being on anti's delay a period and a changing the body's time clock(E.g. Getting up early then usally everyday)

I would like to add that i have just had same problem, always regular 28 day cycle, due last thurs - nothing although usual pain, feelings etc, nothing friday, then 2 days of a slight brown "discharge" like end of period, yet today only a slight bright red "show! - not anything like a period and wouldnt even warrant using a tampax? Still feel like im "on" I even did a preg test (negative). Hoping will all be back to normal next month? but like most people not happened before and not had friends mention the same experience? Hope everyone is ok and maybe just stree or something - although i've certainly been more stressed before without this happening! Smile

Iam having this exact same problem, I feel like im on my period but nothings came yet! I hope someone has an answer soon, ive been searching for hours and this is the closest ive come to an answer.

Hello ladies! I too am also having the same problem and i have been searching on the internet all moring trying to find women who have experienced the same thing. check out www.wiki.answers.com i've read tons of posts who have said they were experiencing cramps without the bleeding and it turned out they were pregnant and that their doctor's assured them it was very normal. I go in today for a blood test to make sure I am pregnant. I have all symptoms including cramping but home test keeps coming back negative. Visit that site and wish me luck!!
