periods heavier after losing virginity sex

Hello! I am 19 years old and about 3 months ago I lost my virginity. Strange thing happened after. Ever since having my first sex, my periods became heavier. I have had 3 by now, and they lasted for about 6 days, and they usually last 3-4 days, there is more blood than before, and I even had pain. Is this normal after losing virginity?

Hi! I don’t think that your heavier periods have something to do with losing virginity. Maybe you just started to notice more, because losing virginity brings new issues. I mean if your problems persist, you should visit a gyno, there may be another problem. If not, just get yourself a good protection and enjoy!!!!
