After a chest X-ray at a local ER room, I was diagnosed with pneumonia although I didn't have a fever, cough, chest rattle or phegm. I was exhausted, achey all over, my throat hurt and I had this terrible pain under my eyes. Also, my upper back was painful, as was my neck. I was treated for pneumonia and felt better for a while but the symptoms have persisted and expanded to include chest pain. It's been more more than two months since I was diagnosed and I still don't feel completely well. I just had to withdraw from graduate school because the stress of classes and being sick was just too much. I heard that it can take up to six months to fully recover from pneumonia. I would suggest taking time off, staying warm, getting an air purifier and de-stressing your life.
